During his cross examination of Deputy Sheriff Aaron Kenney, defense lawyer Brian Buttry began to ask him if he had ever been disciplined in any way.
Kenney said that when he worked for Milwaukee police department he had been reprimanded for not following orders and for being insubordinate.
But Buttry then asked whether this meant that Kenney would be testifying falsely in court, because it seemed odd to imply that an officer who failed to follow instructions should lie under oath.
